Born in Nashville, Matthew and his wife, Sara, purchased their first home on the southeast side of the city in 2022. Since 2017, Matthew has served as both a career and volunteer Firefighter. His passion for people, the community and other first responders is what drives his ambition. For years, Matthew has experienced firsthand how well trained & well supported first responders protect the community and put people first.

Now, he wants to take that same ambition to city hall. The City of Dickson is growing, and GROWING FAST! Though growth is inevitable, it can be managed in a way that keeps Our People, Our Community & Our First Responders to the top of the priority list.
